Larchmont Manor Park is famous for it’s beautiful gazebo’s, stone paths and benches along the water. The rain turned into snow in the early hours and the snow was fresh with hardly any tracks. The park was pretty much deserted except for a few dog walkers. Everything covered in velvety white and beautiful. The water so still and the gazebos begging me to photograph them and freeze them in time. I’ll be the first to admit that I wasn’t a fan of snow at first. It wasn’t until I began to photograph it that I started to appreciate the beauty of these days. I love the way the snow falls on the lawns and trees in my neighborhood and turns it into a monochromatic art scene that every one can appreciate even if you’ve seen it a thousand times. This particular day was so quiet, so peaceful!
